Justin Cooley stars as Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee off Broadway at New World Stages from November 7, 2025, to February 15, 2026.
Cooley is known for starring as Seth in the musical Kimberly Akimbo, originating the role in the Off-Broadway world premiere at Atlantic Theater Company before moving with the production to Broadway. Across the two runs, Cooley was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical as well as Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, Lucille Lortel, and Antony Awards, and he won Theatre World, ABA Clarence Derwent, and Clive Barnes Awards.
