It's a Dancing With the Stars reunion! Derek Hough, an Emmy Award-winning, longtime pro and current judge on the competition show, will appear for one night only in Chicago on Broadway on July 20. That same night, fellow DWTS pro Mark Ballas begins his second run in the show as Billy Flynn, a role he will perform through August 16.

Hough will deliver Chicago's opening monologue and participate in a post-performance talkback with Ballas, who made his Chicago debut earlier this year opposite his 2025 DWTS partner, Whitney Leavitt.

Chicago follows two vaudevilliain murderesses who compete for the public's sympathy and lawyer Billy's attention in order to get acquitted — and famous. The musical at the Ambassador Theatre has run since 1996, making it the longest-running show currently on Broadway and the second-longest-running show of all time. It celebrates its 30th anniversary later this year.
