Welcome aboard! Jim Parsons, Deborah Cox, Frankie Grande, and Constantine Rousouli have joined the cast of Titanique on Broadway, starting performances March 26 ahead of an April 12 opening at the St. James Theatre.
Newly confirmed for the Titanique Broadway cast are Emmy Award winner Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory) as Ruth; Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee Deborah Cox, a former backing vocalist for Celine Dion, as The Unsinkable Molly Brown; and original Titanique stars Constantine Rousouli as Jack Dawson, and Frankie Grande (Rock of Ages, Mamma Mia!) as Victor Garber. They join the previously announced Marla Mindelle, another of the Off-Broadway production’s original stars who reprises her role of Celine Dion. Additional casting has yet to be announced.
Titanique is a musical parody of James Cameron’s film Titanic in which Dion narrates her own zany version of what really happened to Jack and Rose, all set to the singer’s hit songs like “My Heart Will Go On” and “All By Myself.” The show ran off Broadway to acclaim from 2022-25, and it is co-created by Mindelle, Rousouli, and its director Tye Blue.
The creative team also includes set designers Gabriel Hainer Evansohn and Grace Lauchbacher for Iron Bloom Creative Production; costume designer Alejo Vietti; lighting designer Paige Seber; sound designer Lawrence Schober; music supervisor; orchestrator; and arranger Nicholas Connell; wig designer Tommy Kurzman; and original prop designer Eric Reynolds.
