Welcome to Schmigadoon! Three-time Tony Award nominee Jennifer Simard will join the cast of Schmigadoon! on Broadway starting September 8. She will assume the role of Mildred Layton from Tony-nominated original cast member Ana Gasteyer, who departs September 6.

Simard was most recently seen on Broadway as Helen Sharp in Death Becomes Her, one of her Tony-nominated shows alongside Company and Disaster!

She joins continuing cast members Alex Brightman as Josh Skinner, 2026 Tony nominee Sara Chase as Melissa Gimble, Ann Harada as Florence Menlove, McKenzie Kurtz as Betsy, Isabelle McCalla as Emma Tate, Ivan Hernandez as Doc, Brad Oscar as Mayor Menlove, Max Clayton as Danny Bailey, Maulik Pancholy as the Reverend, and Ayaan Diop as Carson.

Based on the same-named Apple TV+ series and written by Cinco Paul, Schmigadoon! on Broadway follows a troubled couple who find themselves in a living, breathing Golden Age-style musical and must find true love to escape. The show won the 2026 Tony Award for Best Musical alongside prizes for its book, score, and orchestrations.
