Bassichis is a comedian, artist, and writer. They have performed the shows A Crowded Field and Questions to Ask Beforehand in New York, authored the book The Odd Years and co-edited Questions to Ask Before Your Bat Mitzvah, and displayed an exhibition of visual art called More Little Ditties at Harvard University and Virginia Commonwealth University.
