Joyce DiDonato stars as Amahl's Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater from December 16, 2025 to January 4, 2026.

DiDonato is a leading classical opera star and a three-time Grammy Award winner for Best Classical Vocal Solo. Her numerous other international awards include the British Laurence Olivier Award for outstanding achievement in opera, the German Handel Prize, and four Gramophone Awards for achievement in classical music, including the Gramophone Award for Artist of the Year and an induction into Gramophone Hall of Fame.
