'The Emporium' sets Off-Broadway cast

Classic Stage Company has named the complete cast and creative team for its production of The Emporium off Broadway, running from April 30 to June 7 with an opening night of May 18.
The cast of The Emporium off Broadway includes Candy Buckley (Scandalous) as Bernice, Mahira Kakkar (Life of Pi) as Mrs. Frisbee, Eva Kaminsky (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) as Miss Coley, Patrick Kerr (You Can’t Take It with You) as Mr. Benjamin, Tony Award nominee Derek Smith (The Lion King) as Mr. Foster, Joe Tapper (You Can't Take It with You) as John, and Cassia Thompson (Zack) as Laurencia.
The show also features direction by Rob Melrose, set design by Walt Spangler, costume design by Alejo Vietti, lighting design by Cat Tate Starmer, and sound design by Darron L West.
The Emporium follows a young man as journeys he through the city and beyond, encountering a world of wonder, meaning, and the truths of life. The show is Thornton Wilder's final play, unfinished before his death and newly adapted and completed by Kirk Lynn.
