Vineyard has also announced additional creative team members alongside previously announced director Rachel Chavkin. Scene Partners takes place in 1985, when 75-year-old Meryl decides to ditch Milwaukee for Los Angeles to become a movie star. The show follows her reinvention as well as her quest for the world to know who she really is.
