Welcome (back) to the show, old sports! Chilina Kennedy and Max Monnig will join the cast of The Great Gatsby on Broadway later this month, playing their first performances at the Broadway Theatre on October 14.

Kennedy (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Paradise Square) will play Myrtle Wilson as a temporary replacement for Linedy Genao, who returns November 16 after starring in In the Heights. Kennedy previously played a limited run as Myrtle in 2024. Monnig (Glory of the World) will make his Broadway debut as Tom Buchanan, replacing John Behlmann after he departs October 11 to star in Dolly: A True Original Musical.

The current Great Gatsby Broadway cast also includes Ryan McCartan as Jay Gatsby, China Anne McClain as Daisy Buchanan, Corbin Bleu as Nick Carraway, Charlie Pollock as George Wilson, and Eric Anderson as Wolfsheim.
