'Blue Man Group' to make Broadway debut with new holiday show

The global phenomenon, which played for more than 30 years at the Astor Place Theatre off Broadway, will have a strictly limited run at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

It's going to be a blue Christmas! Blue Man Group will return to NYC for the festive season with Blue Man Group “A New Holiday Surprise”. The new show, which marks Blue Man Group's Broadway debut, will play from November 12 to January 3 only at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Opening night is November 17.

Blue Man Group is an NYC institution; its original production played off Broadway at the Astor Place Theatre for more than 30 years before closing in 2025, and it became a global phenomenon in between. The family-friendly Broadway show will see the titular "blue men" blending music, art, and comedy as they discover classic holiday traditions and play classic Christmas tunes on their signature instruments, like paint-splattered drums and PVC pipes.
