Grammy Award-winning artist Sting will star in a newly reimagined production of his musical, The Last Ship, for a limited West End run following tours across the globe. Inspired by his childhood in the British shipbuilding town of Wallsend, it promises to be a tribute to the people and the place that shaped this great singer.

'Oh, Mary!' creator Cole Escola will come to London.

The West End has already seen Mason Alexander Park and Catherine Tate take on the infamous Mary Todd Lincoln in Oh, Mary!, and now is the turn of the show’s original creator and Tony winner Cole Escola, who originally took the show to the bright lights of Broadway. We can’t wait to see what Escola does with their madcap creation for a London audience.

'Heated Rivalry' is set for the London stage.

It’s time to get pucked! A Heated Rivalry parody musical has already opened off Broadway, and now it’s London’s turn to put its spin on the hit TV series about hockey and steamy relationships. The parody Deep-Heat Rivalry (separate from the Off-Broadway show) is written by Phil Scott and Trevor Ashley, who is currently starring in The Producers in the West End. Get ready for the theatre world’s most campy, chaotic event of the year.

Another 'Stranger Things' star will make their West End debut.

While Sadie Sink wraps up her run in Romeo & Juliet at the Harold Pinter Theatre, her Stranger Things co-star Gaten Matarazzo (already a well-known face on Broadway) prepares to make his own West End debut in Jonathan Larson’s Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Rent. The musical is celebrating 30 years since its Broadway premiere, and we know it will be one of the hottest tickets of the year.

Immersive theatre company Secret Cinema has announced its next show — and you’ll have to walk the plank to get tickets! Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: The Immersive Adventure is the first time the blockbuster film franchise has been adapted into a fully immersive theatrical experience. The show will also open Secret Cinema’s new flagship venue at Greenwich Peninsula. We can’t wait to see what they have planned aboard the Black Pearl.

Looking ahead: Frank Sinatra steps into the spotlight

Joel Harper-Jackson will play “Ol' Blue Eyes” when Sinatra The Musical comes to the Aldwych Theatre in the West End next month. The new musical focuses on the early part of Frank Sinatra’s career, when he was in the throes of an affair with movie star Ava Gardner. The show will feature some of Sinatra’s biggest hits including "That’s Life," "One For My Baby," "The Best Is Yet To Come," and "Come Fly With Me." We're sure this timeless production is likely to get under your skin.
