Nominations for the 2026 Tony Awards have been announced, honoring the best plays and musicals of the 2025-26 Broadway season. 2025 Tony winner Darren Criss and 2022 nominee Uzo Aduba announced select categories on CBS Mornings ahead of the full announcement via the Tony Awards’ YouTube channel.
Best Musical nominees The Lost Boys and Schmigadoon! lead the pack with 12 nominations each. Best Musical Revival nominee Ragtime follows with 11, and Best Play Revival nominee Death of a Salesman is the most nominated play with 9, tying with Best Musical Revival nominees Cats: The Jellicle Ball and The Rocky Horror Show.
