Tala Ashe stars as Edna in Clifford Odets' Waiting for Lefty at Classic Stage Company off Broadway from October 15 to November 22, 2026.
Ashe earned a Tony Award nomination for her Broadway-debut performance in English, reprising her role as Elham from the Off-Broadway world premiere of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play. She has also appeared in Off-Broadway shows with The Public Theater, including its Shakespeare in the Park; Playwrights Horizons, Second Stage Theater, and more.
Ashe is best known for her recurring TV roles as Ameera Ali Aziz on As the World Turns, R.J. Quigley on Smash, Anna Stone in American Odyssey, and Zari Tomaz and Zari Tarazi in Legends of Tomorrow.
