Steve Key stars as Jerry Goss in Bug on Broadway at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre from December 17, 2025.
Key made his Broadway debut as an understudy in the 2017 production of Lynn Nottage's Sweat; he previously appeared in The Public Theater's Mobile Unit National Tour of the production. He also appeared in the national tour August: Osage Country by Bug playwright Tracy Letts. A Chicago native, Key has performed in many shows in his home city, including the 2021 pre-Broadway run of Bug at Steppenwolf Theatre Company.
Key has recurred on the TV show Boss and guest-starred on Law and Order: SVU, The Good Fight, Elementary, and more.
