Ruthie Ann Miles stars as Lewis’s Mother (Bessie Mae Bellomy) in The Fantasticks on Broadway at the Hayes Theater from October 22, 2026.
Miles is best known for her Tony Award-winning performance as Lady Thiang in The King and I and Tony-nominated performance as the Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd, both on Broadway. She also reprised her role as Lady Thiang in London's West End.
Off Broadway, she starred as Imelda Marcos in the world premiere of the David Byrne/Fatboy Slim musical Here Lies Love, winning a Theatre World Award and a Lucille Lortel Award.
On screen, she has appeared in the TV shows The Americans and All Rise.
