Renesito Avich stars as Eliades in Buena Vista Social Club on Broadway at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, performing on the tres (Cuban guitar) as both a cast member and band member. A musician, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Santiago de Cuba, he has received three Latin Grammy nominations, including for Best Traditional Tropical Album and Best Tropical Song. Critics praised his "virtuosic and playful solo" in the production.
