Goldsberry is best known for originating the role of Angelica Schuyler in Hamilton on Broadway, earning Tony and Grammy Awards for her performance. Her other theatre credits include Silvia in The Two Gentlemen of Verona (Drama Desk nomination), Mimi Marquez in Rent, and Nettie Harris in The Color Purple.
On screen, she is known for playing Wickie Roy in Girls5eva, Evangeline Wilson on One Life to Live (two Emmy nominations), and Geneva Pine on The Good Wife.
