Paul Mescal is best known for playing Connell Waldron on the TV show Normal People (BAFTA TV Award, Emmy nomination), Callum Patterson in the movie Aftersun (Oscar, BAFTA Film Award nominations), Harry in the film All of Us Strangers (BAFTA Film Award nomination), and Lucius Verus in Gladiator II.
Mescal has also appeared in multiple theatre productions in his home country of Ireland. He starred as Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire off Broadway in 2025, reprising his performance from London's West End, where he won the Olivier Award for Best Actor.
