Melody Butiu is best known for her Broadway performances as Estrella Cumpas in Here Lies Love on Broadway in 2023 — reprising her performance from the show's Off-Broadway premiere with The Public Theater 10 years earlier — Kubarikha in Doctor Zhivago, and Sofia Flores in The Queen of Versailles, reprising her role from the musical's pre-Broadway world premiere in Boston.
Butiu appeared on screen in the movie Easter Sunday and in TV shows like FBI and Young Sheldon.
