David Cumming co-wrote and starred in the original cast of Operation Mincemeat on Broadway and in London's West End. Cumming won an Olivier Award as part of the creative team for Operation Mincemeat, and he was nominated for Best Actor in a Musical for originating the role of Charles Cholmondeley. He is also is a part of the award-winning dark-comedy theatre troupe Kill the Beast.
