
Cynthia Nixon stars in Marjorie Prime on Broadway at the Hayes Theater from November 20, 2025 to February 15, 2026.
Nixon is most widely known for starring as Miranda Hobbes in the TV show Sex and the City (winning an Emmy Award), its two associated movies, and its sequel series, And Just Like That.... She is also a stage veteran, however, having made her Broadway debut in 1980's The Philadelphia Story and appearing in over 30 shows since between Broadway and Off-Broadway.
For her Broadway work, Nixon has won two Tony Awards, for The Little Foxes and Rabbit Hole, and earned two additional nominations for Wit and Indiscretions. Additional Broadway credits include the plays Angels in America, The Last Night of Ballyhoo, Hurlyburly, and The Real Thing in both 1984 and 2014.
Additionally, Nixon won another Emmy for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2008 and a Grammy Award for co-narrating the audiobook of An Inconvenient Truth in 2009.
