Christopher Jacob Abbott was born February 10, 1986 in Greenwich, Connecticut. He has worked extensively on both stage and screen and is known for roles in Girls and many independent films.

Abbott earned a Golden Globe nomination for his performance.
In 2026, Abbott starred as Biff Loman in Death of a Salesman on Broadway. His Off-Broadway and regional credits include Where We're Born, Fool for Love, John, The Rose Tattoo opposite Marisa Tomei, and Danny and the Deep Blue Sea opposite Aubrey Plaza.
