
Carrie Coon is a Tony Award nominee for her Broadway-debut performance as Honey in the 2012 revival of Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and she returned to Broadway in 2025 as Agnes White in Bug, penned by her husband, Tracy Letts.
She is best known, however, for her Emmy Award-nominated TV performances as Gloria Bugle in Fargo and Bertha Russell in The Gilded Age. Additional well-known TV roles include Nora Durst in The Leftovers and Laurie in season 3 of The White Lotus.
Coon made her film debut in Gone Girl and has since appeared in The Post, Avengers: Infinity War, and Ghostbusters: Afterlife and its sequel, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.
