Durand is known for originating the role of Elmer McCurdy in Dead Outlaw on and off Broadway, for which he won an Outer Critics Circle Award and was nominated for Tony, Drama Desk, Drama League, and Lucille Lortel Awards. Additional Broadway credits include the musicals Shucked, Spring Awakening, and Head Over Heels and the plays Ink and War Horse.
