See the latest collaboration from the team behind the thriller Job. Robert Pattinson will executive produce The Holes in New York City via his production company, Icki Eneo Arlo, which marks the company’s exciting theatrical debut. The Holes plays for a limited run, six weeks only, from September 8 through October 18 at the Wild Project, a downtown theatre gem and an intimate house that perfectly meets the thrill of this premiere work.

In The Holes off Broadway, an upstate bar is rapidly decaying, but around it, the town is suffering from the bloat of gentrification. People come to the bar for its padlocked back room, a mysterious space that offers pleasure, relief, and maybe something more sinister — and dangerous. The Holes is a unique and chilling dark comedy about desire and the forces that are shaping our future. Shame and desire, community and individualism, and stasis and progress all collide in this singular new work.

With Job, playwright Max Wolf Friedlich had a downtown hit that extended and then transferred to Broadway, expanding how certain genre works are seen on stage. He reunites with that play's director, Michael Herwitz, to bring audiences a new titillating tale where danger lurks around every corner.

The cast brings together an ensemble of stage and screen favorites: Bubba Weiler (Well I'll Let You Go playwright), Grantham Coleman (Rustin), Tina Benko (Elsbeth), and Jack Mulhern (Mare of Easttown). Alongside a producing team led by Robert Pattison, this play marks an exciting show to kick off the fall season, which distinctly sees more and more horror, or horror-adjacent, works taking the stage.
