The Stranger Things star leads Kimberly Belflower's comedy-drama play about teenage girls learning about — and questioning — The Crucible in school.
Here's your first look at John Proctor Is the Villain on Broadway starring Sadie Sink! Photos are available now of Kimberly Belflower's new play running at the Booth Theatre through July 6.
Sink leads an ensemble cast in John Proctor Is the Villain, set in a rural Georgia high school in 2018. Students reading Arthur Miller's The Crucible in their English class begin to question everything they're being taught about the play — namely, who its heroes and villains are — in response to the friendships, romances, and scandals in their own lives.
Under the direction of 2024 Tony Award winner Danya Taymor (The Outsiders), the cast features Sink as Shelby Holcomb, Maggie Kuntz as Ivy Watkins, Morgan Scott as Nell Shaw, Fina Strazza as Beth Powell, Amalia Yoo as Raelynn Nix, Tony Award winner Gabriel Ebert as Carter Smith, Hagan Oliveras as Lee Turner, Nihar Duvvuri as Mason Adams, and Molly Griggs as Bailey Gallagher. See the photos below, and get tickets to see them in this explosive new show live!
