Lily Rabe, Raúl Esparza, Steven Skybell, more in Shakespeare join the Park's 'The Winter's Tale'
The Public Theater will present Shakespeare's lesser-produced play at the Delacorte Theater beginning in late July as part of its annual free summer series.

The Public Theater has named the complete cast for its Free Shakespeare in the Park production of The Winter's Tale, running at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park from July 25 to August 22. Opening night is August 11.
The complete Winter's Tale cast includes Teagle F. Bougere as Camillo, Chuck Cooper as Old Shepherd, Peter Douskalis as the Musician, Matthew Eby as Mamillius/Time, Raúl Esparza as Leontes, Isabela Ferrer as Perdita, Katie Griffith as Mopsa, Alex Hernandez as Cleomenes, Michael Khalid Karadsheh as Young Shepherd, Daniel Kyri as Florizel, Aubie Merrylees as Archidamus, Jennifer Mogbock as Emilia, Gilbert Owuor as Polixenes, Lily Rabe as Hermione, Matthew Russell as Dion, and Steven Skybell as Antigonus/Autolycus. The ensemble includes Heschel Bay, Eby, Griffith, Hernandez, Denise Kolodja, Merrylees, Mogbock, Violeta Picayo, Bianca Rogoff, Russell, Michael Thanh Tran, and Jackson Whitman.
Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale follows a Sicilian princess who, having been cast out years before, does not know her true identity, nor that the young shepherd she meets is a prince in disguise himself.
The Winter's Tale features direction by Daniel Sullivan, choreography and associate direction by Mimi Lieber, scenic design by Maruti Evans, costume design by Linda Cho, sound design by Brian Ronan, composition by Tom Kitt, hair and wig design by Tom Watson, sound system design by Mike Tracey, puppet design by James Ortiz, and prop management by Rachel Kenner.
