Complete cast set for 'We'll See' off Broadway

The latest installment in Richard Nelson's play series about the Apple family, We'll See will feature four returning cast members from previous productions.

The Public Theater has named the complete cast of We'll See, written and directed by Richard Nelson. Performances run October 25 to November 22, with opening night on midterm election day, November 3, when the show takes place.

We'll See is the latest installment of Nelson's Rhinebeck Panorama play series, centered on the Apple family and their timely dinnertime conversations. Reprising their roles as the Apples from previous plays are Sally Murphy as Jane, Maryann Plunkett as Barbara, Laila Robins as Marian, and Jay O. Sanders as Richard. Yvonne Woods newly joins this production as Richard’s partner, Yvonne.

“It's a rare and moving experience to work again with these wonderful actors, on this journey that began 16 years ago,” Nelson said in a statement. “We last met the Apple Family on Zoom during the pandemic. Today we find them, like ourselves, in uncharted territory, confused, upset, lost, asking, as always, what have we become?”

We'll See also has scenic design by Jason Ardizzone-West, costume design by Susan Hilferty, lighting design by Jennifer Tipton, and sound design and composition by Scott Lehrer, production stage management by Nicole Caroselli, and stage management by Molly Foy.
