'Camelot' to offer Broadway lottery tickets

The revival of Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's musical, newly revised by Oscar winner Aaron Sorkin, plays the Vivian Beaumont Theater in Lincoln Center.

It's the lottery month of March! Camelot will offer digital lottery tickets for its Broadway run at Lincoln Center Theater's Vivian Beaumont Theater, which begins March 9 ahead of an April 13 opening.

The digital lottery will offer $39 tickets to each performance, subject to availability. The lottery is open from 12:01 a.m. to 3 p.m. the day before the performance. Winners will be drawn the day before the performance, at 10 a.m. for matinees and 3 p.m. for evening shows. Winners can purchase up to two tickets.

Camelot is based on the legends of Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table in the mythical title kingdom. When his wife, Guenevere, begins to fall for the knight Lancelot, Arthur must figure out how to keep his love and uphold his duty. Andrew Burnap, Phillipa Soo, and Jordan Donica star.

Oscar winner Aaron Sorkin has written a new script for this revival, which still includes all the original songs like "Camelot" and "If Ever I Would Leave You." Bartlett Sher directs; he led the last acclaimed Lerner and Loewe revival, 2018's My Fair Lady, at LCT.
