
Find out which Broadway shows are nominated for 2026 Grammy Awards
The cast recordings of five Broadway musicals, four of which are currently running, were nominated in the Best Musical Theater Album category.

The 2026 Grammy nominations have been released, with the Broadway shows Buena Vista Social Club, Death Becomes Her, Gypsy, Just In Time, and Maybe Happy Ending receiving nominations in the Best Musical Theater Album category.
All but Gypsy are currently running on Broadway; the Audra McDonald-led revival closed in August. The individual nominees for each album generally encompass the producers and/or lead vocalists. This year's nominations are given to:
- Buena Vista Social Club: Marco Paguia, Dean Sharenow, and David Yazbek
- Death Becomes Her: Taurean Everett, Megan Hilty, Josh Lamon, Christopher Sieber, Jennifer Simard, Michelle Williams, Noel Carey, Sean Patrick Flahaven, Julia Mattison, and Scott M. Riesett
- Gypsy: Danny Burstein, Kevin Csolak, Audra McDonald, Jordan Tyson, Joy Woods, David Caddick, Andy Einhorn, David Lai, and George C. Wolfe
- Just In Time: Emily Bergl, Jonathan Groff, Erika Henningsen, Gracie Lawrence, Michele Pawk, Derik Lee, Andrew Resnick, and Bill Sherman
- Maybe Happy Ending: Marcus Choi, Darren Criss, Dez Duron, Helen J Shen, Deborah Abramson, Will Aronson, Ian Kagey, and Hue Park
Additionally, the Wicked movie was well-represented among the nominees. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande's rendition of "Defying Gravity" earned a nod for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, while John Powell and Stephen Schwartz's score was nominated for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media. The track "Train to Emerald City" earned a nod for Best Instrumental Composition.
The 2026 Grammy Awards will take place on February 1, broadcasting live on CBS and streaming live and on demand on Paramount+.
