Following its hit world premiere earlier this summer, Beau The Musical will play an encore run off Broadway this fall. Presented by Out of the Box Theatrics, the musical will be the first production at the company's new home, St. Luke’s Theatre. Performances begin October 13 ahead of an October 27 opening.

Beau The Musical is a coming-of-age story in which Ace Baker, a young queer boy living in Tennessee, reconnects with his grandfather, Beau, whom he had believed to be dead. Beau instills in Ace a love of music and becomes an unexpected source of acceptance and guidance as he comes of age. The show is performed by eight actor-musicians who play instruments on stage in a concert-style setup.

Beau The Musical's creative team features Josh Rhodes (direction, choreography), Douglas Lyons (book, music, lyrics, concept), and Ethan D. Pakchar (music). Matt Rodin, who starred as Ace in the premiere production at Theatre 154 in Greenwich Village, will reprise his critically acclaimed performance for the transfer.

Additional cast and creative team members have yet to be announced.
