'A Ghost in Your Ear' names new Off-Broadway casting, performance dates

The "headphone horror" play, written and directed by Jamie Armitage, will now start its limited run at Audible's Minetta Lane Theatre in early October.

Audible Theater's production of A Ghost in Your Ear off Broadway has named new casting, with Owen Campbell (X) now starring opposite The Pitt's Lucas Iverson. Iverson replaces the previously announced Harry Richardson, who has withdrawn due to unforeseen circumstances.

In light of this change, the production will now start performances at the Minetta Lane Theatre on October 3 and run through November 22. Ticketholders for performances between September 29 and October 2 will receive a refund and an option to rebook.

Writer/director Jamie Armitage's immersive play is set at a recording session for a horror audiobook. While in the booth, an actor starts to get haunted in real life, and audiences experience every chilling sound close up through headphones.

As previously announced, the creative team includes sound designers Ben & Max Ringham, set and costume designer Anisha Fields, and lighting design Ben Jacobs.

A Ghost in Your Ear makes its NYC debut after a critically acclaimed London run earlier this year. After the Off-Broadway run, Audible will release A Ghost in Your Ear as an audio drama on its online platforms at a later date.
