Emmy Award winner Tatiana Maslany (Orpahn Black), Tony Award winner Tony Shalhoub (The Band's Visit), and Emmy Award winner John Turturro (Monk) are the leading characters in Rhinoceros in New York City following the production's acclaimed run in Boston. "You don’t laugh until it hurts. You laugh and then it hurts," The Boston Globe wrote of this play, directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulis (Pippin).

In Rhinoceros on Broadway, a strange thing is happening in one small community — and maybe you can hear it? There is the sound of a stampede, the trumpet of beasts, and the transformation of human into animal. In this exquisite, strange, and prescient play, people slowly begin transforming into rhinoceroses, telegraphing an absurd reality and offering a meditation on themes of conformity and joining the herd. What does it cost to stand apart, to stand alone, and to stand as a self?

WBUR said this play in Boston had “stellar performances" and is "expertly directed. The absurdist play is funnier, and more thought-provoking than I could have imagined.” The Wall Street Journal also raved Rhinoceros is "outlandishly funny and eerily realistic." Now, Rhinoceros plays in New York City at Roundabout Theatre Company, closing out its season and starting this spring for a limited run only.

Exploring mob mentality in chilling and hilarious ways, Rhinoceros comes to Broadway for the first time in over 50 years. Audiences can expect a thrilling look at a classic with a cast of today's stars turning in celebrated performances.

Do you have what it takes to stand strong when the herd comes? See what plays out: tickets to Rhinoceros in New York will be available here soon.
