Pam is a crushingly ordinary transwoman who works in a New Jersey toll booth. Being unremarkable is her greatest joy. But when her estranged father dies and she begins to unlock the secrets he left behind, Pam discovers a world she never knew: the world of competitive aerobics, where it’s always 1988. Exuberant and joyfully queer, MISS STEP is the new dance comedy musical you never knew you needed.
