About Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody

Are you thirsty for hot, closeted athletes... and Canada Dry? Get Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody tickets on New York Theatre Guide to see this sexy and hilarious riff on your favorite show and book series. Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody plays at The Club at 530 West 27th Street and brings audiences Shane and Ilya, up close and personal, live on an intimate stage that throbs with possibility.

Experience Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody off Broadway to see gay hockey players come out of the closet and onto the stage: playing for rival teams, Ilya and Shane are polar opposites. Ilya is confident and forthright while Shane is shy and reserved. Naturally, they fall in love, but can their family, team, and rabid fandom accept their love?

The TV show has become a global phenomenon, and now Broadway actors get their chance to star in a satire... even if they thought they were auditioning for Season 2. Featuring Jay Armstrong Johnson (as Ilya Rozanov) and Jimin Moon (as Shane Hollander), Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody also features a bop-heavy score written by Jonathan Larson Grant winner Dylan MarcAurele.

Come to teh rink where the ice gets hot: expect silent, sexy stares, expect time jumps that make no sense, and, above all, expect a very important character — "Ilya's Ass." It's all dramaturgically correct: the director, Alan Kliffer, is originally from Canada. He also put Asylum NYC Chelsea on the map as a comedy center after serving as its artistic director for five years.

Get ready for a musical parody for adults that will have you wishing for overtime. Most of all, get ready for love, which sometimes comes when you least expect it... and sometimes, it comes hands-free. Tickets to Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody in New York are available now.
