and her Children is an adaptation of Bertolt Brecht’s Mother Courage and her Children which reimagines Anna Fierling as a spokeswoman for the NRA. Inspired by Dana Loesch’s infamous appearance at a Town Hall following the 2018 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, and Her Children investigates America’s gun violence epidemic through the lens of those who are paid to defend the right to bear arms. Time holds still as our contemporary Anna Fierling, a spokeswoman for the NRA, is plummeted into a liminal space where the audience is a stand-in for her own troubled conscience. In this imagined space, she grapples with two gnawing questions: Has she been selfish? And will she keep her job?

Moving and emotional piece that makes you think. Very well acted!
and her Children = contemporary update on Brecht's MOTHER COURAGE, finds the audience [02/13/26] supporting and laughing along with the 21st century conservative, Republican, neo-con, constitution spouting, single mother of 3 [gay son and twins/daughter and son] who works for the NRA. She continues to do so even after "all her Children" die by gun violence at each others hands, because she "doesn't know how to do anything else". Spelling out the tragedy of not knowing how to imagine a better world.
Intense one woman show. Incredibly impressive performance. Performance was FABULOUS!
